A hardworking teenager who pulls the pints in Coppers Portlaoise and is planning to be an international businesswoman, has entered the Laois Rose 2025.
Busy Mia Gavigan, aged 19, told the Leinster Express / Laois Live all about herself.
"I grew up and live in Portlaoise and I proudly call it my home. Currently, I’m studying International Business at Maynooth University, which I hope to use to expand the list of countries I’ve visited while learning and getting a taste of different businesses across the world.
"In addition to my studies, I love playing guitar and singing, which allows me to express my creativity.

"When I am not in college you can find me pulling pints in Coppers Portlaoise. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and family. I’m thrilled to be part of the Laois Rose Selection, and I’ve loved getting to know all the amazing girls – I’ve definitely made friends for life," she said.
The Laois Rose Selection Night takes place in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on Friday, April 18. The winner will take part in the televised International Rose of Tralee in Kerry this August.
The Leinster Express / Laois Live is the proud Media Sponsor for the Laois Rose Selection.
