Woman allegedly stole clothes from Laois shops

A woman appeared in court accused of stealing clothes in Portlaoise. 

Philomena Connors (23) of 299 Block 8A, Tallaght Cross, West Tallaght, Dublin 24 is accused of stealing goods valued at €122.50 from Laois Pharmacy, Lyster Square, clothing valued at €242 from Lifestyle Sports, Laois Shopping Centre on May 15, 2025. 

Andrew Dunne BL requested disclosure to include CCTV and asked for legal aid in the case. 

Judge Catherine Ryan adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on April 27 for either a plea or a date for hearing.
