A special appreciation night will be held on Tuesday, 10th December, at The Leitrim Inn and Blueway Lodge.
This event is dedicated to honouring our Emergency Services, First Responders, local community, and our amazing staff who came together during the aftermath of the devastating tornado that struck Leitrim Village and surrounding areas.
The organisers of the event said: "One year ago, our community faced an immense challenge, with extensive damage caused by the tornado. Despite the hardships, the resilience, bravery, and unity shown by everyone was truly inspiring.
"This evening is our way of saying thank you for the unwavering support, hard work, and dedication that helped rebuild and strengthen our village".
They urge people to join them for a night of live music by John O’Dowd, delicious finger food, and a warm, heartfelt celebration of community spirit.
"It’s an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and to express our gratitude to those who stood by us when we needed it most," the organisers added.
