Lights, Camera, Leitrim! Be part of an exciting tourism campaign

According to a press release from Leitrim County Council, the local authority, in partnership with Media Coop, is launching a brand-new tourism campaign—and they want real people to be part of it.

The upcoming advert will showcase Leitrim’s breathtaking landscapes and unique attractions, bringing to life the experiences that make the county a must-visit destination. To make it as authentic as possible, the campaign is looking for families, couples, and groups of friends to feature in the production.

The call is open to families with parents in their 30s or 40s and children aged eight and up, as well as couples in their 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s, and groups of friends in their 20s or 30s. Individuals are also encouraged to apply, as the campaign aims to reflect a diverse and vibrant mix of people enjoying all that Leitrim has to offer.

Filming is set to take place at the end of April across various scenic locations throughout the county. The final campaign will be broadcast on TV and social media, giving participants a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile tourism promotion that will put Leitrim in the spotlight.

For those eager to take part in this exciting project, applications are now open. Interested participants can apply by sending their details and a recent photo to leitrimcasting@gmail.com.

This is a chance to showcase Leitrim’s beauty while making unforgettable memories—so whether you’re an adventurous couple, a family looking for fun, or a group of friends ready for something different, now is the time to step forward and help share Leitrim’s story with the world.
