A night of cards, prizes, and fun kicks off at Lough Allen College this week as the first of several fundraising events for school improvements.

The first of a fundraising initiative is being launched in North Leitrim in an effort to raise funds for improvement works in a local secondary school.

The first of a series of Progressive 25 Card Game nights will take place on Thursday, February 26 at 8pm in Lough Allen College, Drumkeeran.

Lough Allen College have said they are delighted to host the Progressive 25 Card Game Night.

This enjoyable community event marks the first in a series of fundraising initiatives aimed at supporting painting and improvement works around the school. 

The evening is being coordinated by the school’s dedicated caretaker and valued staff member, Paul Gallagher, along with a committed team of supporters.

The school went under some renovations last year, including a renovated engineering room, a new wood technology room, and the introduction of a second ASD class.

There will be plenty of fantastic card game prizes to be won, as well as a raffle on the night, ensuring an entertaining and sociable evening for all.

Everyone is invited to take part, whether you are a regular card player or simply looking for a good night out locally, everyone is very welcome.

As an important part of the Drumkeeran community, Lough Allen College have said they greatly appreciate the continued support of local families and friends.

“We look forward to welcoming a strong crowd on the night for what promises to be an enjoyable occasion in support of ongoing school developments,” the school stated.
