In Pictures: Fashion Friday kicks off Riverfest weekend in Limerick

RIVERFEST Limerick is underway as tens of thousands of people are set to descend on the city over the bank holiday weekend.

Arthur’s Quay Park has been transformed into the Riverfestival Village with vintage amusements, live entertainment and good food while the Panoramic Wheel will offer 360 degree views of the city after relocating from Arthur’s Quay Park to the Potato Market.

One of the first events of Riverfest was Fashion Friday which saw fashion shows, led by Celia Holman-Lee, being staged at Bowes Ryan Bakery & Cafe at Arthurs Quay.

Riverfest turns up the heat this Friday night with a spectacular Rogu fire show and the popular Riverfest BBQ on the Boardwalk will serve up delicious treats on Saturday.

There will a spectacular fireworks display over the river Shannon on Sunday night while Hermitage Green will perform at King John's Castle on the same night.
