GARDAI investigating the death of a man at a rented property close to the Limerick/Tipperary border have arrested a man.
The suspect, whose aged in his 20s, is being questioned about the discovery of a body at a residence in Ballycrana, Kilross, Co Tipperary, shortly after 4am on Wednesday.
It's understood the deceased was living at the house which is located in a rural area close to Galbally village in Co Limerick.
In an update, issued this Thursday night, gardai confirmed the arrested man is currently detained at a garda station in the Munster region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The results of a post mortem examination carried out at Waterford University Hospital have not been released publicly for operational reasons.
Investigations are ongoing.
