Motorists urged to take caution as fallen trees cause traffic chaos across the county

MOTORISTS in Limerick have been warned to “exercise caution” after Storm Isha has caused a number of trees to fall across the county.

Limerick City and County Council confirmed in a Tweet that crews are responding to trees down in Corbally, Newcastle West, and Pallaskenry. 

This includes trees and other debris on Mill Road, Corbally, on the Old Mill Road, Newcastle West and at Don Bosco Road, Pallaskenry.

The L1553 near Kilfinane is also closed due to a fallen tree. There are trees and branches down near Boher Church, Caherelly NS and between Templebraden and old Pallas. Also on Clogher Road, Croagh, the council confirmed in a series of posts on X.
