Wraps of crack cocaine and heroin seized by gardai in Limerick
LIMERICK gardai seized wraps of crack cocaine and heroin from a street dealer after chasing down a man.
A garda spokesperson said officers attached to Operation Croí, assisted by Community Policing Gardai in Henry Street, were on beat patrol on Wednesday morning.
"Gardai encountered a male acting suspiciously in Limerick city centre.
"Following a foot pursuit, the male was stopped and searched - where 42 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin were discovered concealed on his person," said the garda spokesperson.
The class A drugs were ready to be sold on the street on Wednesday morning.

The man was arrested and charged. He is due to appear at a future sitting of Limerick District Court.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis
