A MAN in his 40s who parked his bike in a built-up area in Limerick returned later to find it stolen has reported the incident to gardaí.
On Saturday, May 3, a man locked his black bicycle on St Nessan’s Road, Dooradoyle, at around 6:30pm.
“When he returned 20 minutes later, the lock had been broken and the bike stolen,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, crime prevention officer, Henry St garda station.

“Bicycle security is a regular concern. I recommend using a good quality lock, consider using two locks, and always secure your bike to a solid structure in a well-lit area.”
Gardaí at Roxboro Road are investigating and can be contacted on 061 214340.
