In a notice published on  RIP.ie this Saturday, the family of the late Ms Ferguson - who was the mother of a young boy named Dylan - wrote: “It is with broken hearts we announce the death of our beloved and cherished Clodagh Ferguson, Meadowbrook, Mill Road, Corbally, Limerick”.

Ms Ferguson will be reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick city on Monday, July 21, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

The funeral will arrive on Tuesday, July 22, at St John's Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 1pm. The funeral will proceed afterwards to Shannon Crematorium for service at 3pm.

“To respect the family’s wishes at this time, the house is strictly private at all times,” the funeral notice states.

Ms Ferguson was the adored daughter of Sonia, beloved mother of Dylan, cherished sister of Allida and Abi. She is sorely missed by her grandparents Ann and Tom O'Halloran and Chris Ferguson, aunts, uncle, brother-in-law Evan, godfather Patrick, Dylan's father Dominic, extended family and many friends.
