The death has occurred of Norma Lyons (née Prendeville)
Granagh House, Granagh, Co. Limerick. & formerly of Ballymacelligott, Tralee, Co. Kerry
March 16th 2026, peacefully in the care of Cork University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband John, son Patrick, brothers Sean, Fr. Tom, and Jimmy, sisters Eileen and Kathleen.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughters Carmel (Cronin), Deirdre and Eimear, sons John, Brendan and Aidan, son-in-law Sean, grandchildren Ciaran and Darragh, Ciaran’s wife Inas, nephews, nieces, gran-nephews, gran-nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and her friends.
May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing on Thursday evening (March 19th) at St. Joseph’s Church, Granagh from 6pm with evening prayers at 7pm.
Norma’s Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning (March 20th) at 11am with burial afterwards in Granagh Cemetery.

The Death has occurred of Brid Mannix (nee McNamara), Late of Wellfield, Garryowen and Rhebogue Limerick & Burlingame San Francisco.
Brid passed away peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, in San Francisco.
Predeceased by her parents Christopher & Bridget McNamara and her sister Mary Nelson.
Very sadly missed by her loving husband Kieran and her beloved sons Thomas & Jack, Sisters Catherine, Karen & Sinead, Brothers Michael, John, Gerard & Kieran and extended family and friends.

Nora passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Dominic’s Ward, University Hospital Galway, on the eve of Mother’s Day, Saturday 14th March 2026.
The Murphy family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for Nora with such kindness throughout her illness.
Predeceased by her beloved husband MJ Murphy, her sisters Bridie, Sr. Catherine and Catherine, and her brothers Jim, Ned, Tom, Fr. Christy, Mike, Jack and Patrick.
Nora will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters Olive and Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Cara, Liam, Seán, Elisha and Anthony, her nieces and nephews, especially Dan and Billy, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Saturday, 21st March 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11.00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballybrown, followed by burial in Kilkeedy Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sylvia O'Reilly (née Phelan)

“Coolbawn”, North Circular Road, Limerick.
Passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick, in the presence of her loving family on 17th March 2026.
Predeceased by her sister Frances, her parents, Lt. Col. John S. Phelan, and her mother Mary (Bunty) Phelan (née Harty).
Sylvia will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Dermot, her daughters, Niamh, Claire, Sinéad, Michelle and Annemarie, sons-in-law Desmond, Tom, Shane, John and Evan, and loving grandchildren, Daniel, Peter, Charlie, Hannah, Emma, Ruairí, Cathal, Aaron, Darragh, Laura, River, Robyn, Rian and Riley.
Also greatly loved and missed by her siblings, Marie, Betty, John, Anthony and Eugene, her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
