Longford Chamber of Commerce & Industry has put out a call for new members on their social media platforms. The not-for-profit voluntary partnership of businesses and professionals took to Twitter inviting businesses to engage with the representative group.
They outlined the key goals of the organisation listing: Represent the interests of businesses in Co. Longford; Serve all business sectors - from self-employed to multinationals; Lobby on business interests.
Longford Chamber of Commerce & Industry work closely with the Local Authority and Local Enterprise Office (LEO). They coordinate relevant training, seminars, exhibitions, the St Patrick's Day Parade and seasonal parking concessions to name but a few activities.
Members are nominated to serve on important committees which impact the commercial life of the County. The group has asked people to go to their website for more details.
