Stunning homes in Midlands town sold for a massive €1.35 million
Two adjoining houses in a Midlands town sold for a massive €1.35 million recently.
Auctioneer Matt Dunne is understood to have sold the first house for €650,000 and the adjacent dwelling for €700,000.
Both homes are located close to the railway station and beside the magnificent Carrig Woods in Portlarlington.
The first home is a two-storey building, with five bedrooms, located on two acres of landscaped gardens.
Matt Dunne said the house requires modernising, but oozes with potential. The home is understood to have sold for €650,000, though Mr Dunne would not provide confirmation of the sale price.
The second dwelling is a split level modern residence, totalling 4,500 square foot, including a double garage and mature gardens.
“The basement is ideal as a granny flat, as it has its own independent access,” said Mr Dunne.
It is believed the house sold for €700,000.
Added Mr Dunne: “If you are thinking of selling your house Matt Dunne Auctioneers has the buyers.”
