Deaths in Longford - Thursday, August 8, 2024
Rosemary Corcoran, Edgeworthstown, Longford
The death occurred peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024 of Rosemary Corcoran, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and formerly of Aughagreagh, Ballinalee, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents John and Josephine and by her brother John.
Rosemary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sisters Patricia (Scotland) and Cecilia (Scotland), brothers Eugene (Dublin) and Michael (Longford), sisters-in-law Anne, Sonia and Rose, brother-in-law Bill, nieces Emma, Patricia and Laura, nephews Colum, Ruairí, Michael, Eoin, Gerard, John and Liam, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Wednesday, August 7 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, August 8 at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Purth with interment afterwards in Purth cemetery.
Josephine Siggins (née Kenny) Cullyvore, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford / Kiltimagh, Mayo
The death occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2024 of Josephine Siggons (nee Kenny), Kiltimagh, Co Mayo and late of Cullyvore, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret Kenny, her sister Mary, brothers Paddy, Mickey and Christy. Sadly missed by her loving family, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Josephine's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery.

Louise Gooding (née Mann) Baytree Lodge, Drumdoo, Mohill, Co Leitrim

The death occurred suddenly at home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 of Louise Gooding (neé Mann), Baytree Lodge, Drumdoo, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly Capetown, South Africa. Predeceased by her sister Alison, Louise will be reunited with her beloved grandson Carter. Sadly missed by her loving family, husband Paul, daughter Courtney, sons Gavin, David and Michael, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren, sisters Shelagh, Susan and Joyce, brother David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. At Rest. Louise’s cremation service will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Sunday, August 11 at 1pm.
