Seamus Collumb, Larkfield, Dring, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the doctors and staff of St James's Hospital, Dublin on Thursday, March 5, 2026 of Seamus Collumb, (Postman) Larkfield, Dring, Co Longford.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Kathleen. Sadly missed by his sisters Brigid, Mary and Joanie, brothers Owenie and Mel, brothers in law Richard and Stephen, Mel's partner Bonnie, aunt Sr Mercedes, uncle Tom Fox, nephews Cahir and Conor, nieces Kate and Holly, members of St Columba's GAA Club, his work colleagues in An Post, wonderful neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Seamus Rest In Peace.

Removal on Saturday evening, March 7 arriving at St Columba's Church, Mullinalaghta N39EY17 at 5pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 8 at 2pm with burial immediately afterwards in the local cemetery. The Mass will be live streamed on the Parish of Gowna /Mullinalaghta Facebook Page and Belltron streaming (download the Belltron Streaming App and search for St. Columba's, Mullinalaghta).

Mary-Ellen Kiernan (née McKeon), Church View Cresent, Drumlish, Longford

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of the Padre Pio Ward, St Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford on Friday, March 6, 2026 of Mary-Ellen Kiernan (née McKeon), Church View Cresent, Drumlish and formerly of Clonelly, Dromard and Soran, Ballinalee, Co Longford. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Kiernan, and her parents, James and Mary-Rose. Mary-Ellen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving daughter, Cora McGovern; son-in-law, Raymond; cherished grandchildren, Michaela and Keoghan; great-grandchildren, Lucca and Milo; sister, Anne Brady; brother, Michael McKeon; brother-in-law, Johnnie; sister-in-law, Peggy; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, good friends and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Kelly's Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford (N39 K381) on Sunday, March 8 from 4pm until 5:30pm, with removal afterwards to St Mary’s Church, Drumlish, Co Longford, arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 9 at 11am, followed by burial in Tubberpatrick Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live HERE. House private, please.

Frank McNally, Castle Gardens, Newtownforbes, Longford

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 5, 2026 of Frank McNally Castle Gardens, Newtownforbes, Longford and formerly of Shanmullagh, Ballinamuck, Co Longford.

Predeceased by his parents Terence and Anne McNally. Beloved husband of Colette and father to Lorraine, Dean, Sabrina and Colette. He will be forever missed by his much loved wife Colette, son Dean (Perth), daughters Lorraine, Sabrina (Mohill) and Colette, sons in law Mark Canty, Adrian Scollan, Ronan Bourke. His adored grandchildren Terence, Tadhg, Tomás and Luca. Sisters Eileen (USA), Ann (Clooncumber), brothers Michael and Terry (Ballinamuck), Peter (Cloone), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Frank Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Saturday, March 7 from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 8 in St Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes at 1pm followed by burial in the local cemetery. Funeral mass will be streamed live HERE. House private please.

Christopher (Christy) Lennon, Charleville View, Tullamore, Offaly / Longford

The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, March 5, 2026 of Christopher (Christy) Lennon, Charleville View, Tullamore, Co Offaly, R35 XN92 / Longford (ex Bank of Ireland). 

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Sheila and his sister Mary. Christy will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Louise (Louie) and children Marc, Michael, Peter and Yvonne, daughter in law Joanne, son in law Lucas, his adored grandchildren Keeva, Freya, Finn and Lexi, sisters Evelyn and Sheelagh, brother John, sister in law Olive, brothers in law Wolter, Roy and Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and loyal friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his home on Sunday, March 8 from 2pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday morning, March 9 at 10.30am to St Colman's Church, Mucklagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Fr Robert Morrow, Beaghbeg, Carrigallen, Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully, at Little Sisters of the Poor Care Home, Manchester, in his 91st year, in the 67th year of his Sacred Priesthood on February 8, 2026 of Fr Robert (Robbie) Morrow, Beaghbeg, Carrigallen, Leitrim and Diocese of Salford, England. 

Predeceased by his sister Marie, his brother Joe and nephew Enda. Fr Robbie will be sadly missed by his sister Elizabeth, his brother Jimmy, his nieces and nephews, their spouses and partners, his extended family, and his many friends and parishioners across the Diocese of Salford, who will remember him with great affection and gratitude.

Ordained to the Priesthood on May 31, 1959 at St Kieran's College, Kilkenny, Fr Robbie served the Diocese of Salford with dedication for over 50 years, most notably as Parish Priest of St Joseph's, Bury (1985–2009). Rest In Peace. 

Fr Morrow's body will be received into Guardian Angels, Bury for concelebrated Mass at 7pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Bishop John at Guardian Angels, Bury on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 12 noon. Fr Morrow’s ashes will be returned to Ireland to be buried at St Mary’s Church, Carrigallen following mass there at 12 noon on Saturday, March 14.
