Francesca De Nardi and Davide Forti
“A Musical Menu” comes to the Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol on Saturday 3rd June, 5pm.
“A Musical Menu” is an interactive concert where the audience will have the opportunity to choose the pieces to listen to, from a “menu” with lots of proposals.
The performing musicians are Francesca De Nardi, violin, and Davide Forti, cello, two local artists with an international career.
Originally from Italy, they moved to Ireland 7 years ago and they’ve performed in all major Irish venues ever since.
They are extremely passionate about music education and strongly believe that music should be accessible to all children.
They both work for Music Generation Louth, where they carry on an orchestral programme which involves three different ensembles of young players from 6 to 18 years old.
“A Musical Menu” aims to reach a younger audience and make people experience a wide variety of musical genres, showing all the different possibilities of string instruments.
The audience will have the chance to ask about the “ingredients” of each piece before making their choice and the musicians will be happy to answer all sort of curiosities! It is surely going to be a fun and entertaining evening for the whole family.
Tickets are €12 for adults and €6 for children, available at www.orielcentre.ie
