Shelagh primary school launches fundraiser

The Shelagh School Development Fund said it is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting fundraiser, a EuroMillions Syndicate.

This first of its kind in the area initiative aims to raise funds for the development and enhancement of Shelagh School, providing students with a nurturing and enriching learning environment.

The Shelagh School Development Fund is committed to supporting the growth and progress of Shelagh School, ensuring that every student receives the best education possible.

With the goal of creating a dynamic and inclusive educational experience, the School Development Fund has organized this special fundraiser to generate additional resources for important projects.

By creating a EuroMillions Syndicate, the Shelagh School Development Fund has created a unique opportunity for supporters to contribute while having the chance to win big.

Participants will have the opportunity to play EuroMillions and potentially share in any winnings. It's a win-win situation, where supporters not only contribute to a worthy cause but also have a chance to change their own lives, a spokesperson for Shealgh school said.

An entry into the Syndicate, which costs €100, will give you 1600 lines in the EuroMillions draw over eight weeks. If you were to enter this many times yourself, it would cost over €5,500!

A club in Cavan ran a similar competition and each syndicate member won €900, the spokesperson continued.

"We are thrilled to launch this EuroMillions Syndicate fundraiser," said Trasa Minnock, Principal of Shelagh School.

"This initiative presents a fantastic opportunity for our supporters to make a difference in the lives of our students while also offering them a thrilling chance to win great prizes.

“An entry would make a great Christmas present too!"

The funds raised through this fundraising event will directly support crucial initiatives such as much needed infrastructure improvements, advanced learning resources and extracurricular activities.

The Shelagh School Development Fund believes that every child deserves a high-quality education, and this fundraiser will play a vital role in making that vision a reality.

To participate in this exciting fundraiser and make a meaningful contribution to Shelagh School, individuals can visit the official Scoil Bhríde Shelagh Facebook page where a link to entry can be found.

There, they can join the EuroMillions Syndicate and learn more about the incredible impact their support will have on the students' educational journey.
