TFI urgently warns commuters of new scam doing the rounds
Transport for Ireland (TFI) have issued commuters with an urgent warning on a new scam regarding the Leap Card.
A social media page trying to sell Leap Cards online is currently doing the rounds with users urged not to interact or reply to any messages from the page in question.
The scam page is telling users they can buy an annual subscription Leap Card for just €2.35 by clicking a link, along with a photo of someone holding up a Leap Card with the caption "Do not miss the opportunity to issue an annual subscription and use public transport all year round!".
TFI subsequently posted the scam on their own social media pages to alert commuters.
