The Townhouse invited local publicans, restaurants, suppliers, local businesses and chamber reps to the award-winning restaurant on Friday to hear all about their chef John Kenwright's efforts to represent Ireland in the World Paella Day Competition.
World Paella Day Competition 2024 invites chefs from around the world to enter the competition with their take on the traditional Valencian Paella dish.
John’s initial entry was a video explaining his credentials for representing Ireland on a global stage.
This video has got him to the second from last stage and now as the only Irish chef to reach this stage he needs the town of Dundalk and the country of Ireland to get behind him and vote via social media.
