Tributes have poured in for Louth man Patrick Kearney following his recent passing.
Patrick, better known as Pat, lived at 20 Regina Park, Jonesborough at the time of his passing on 26th February 2025, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital.
He was from Dundalk in louth.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary, loving father of Karen, Rita and Patricia and predeceased by his parents Patrick (Paddy) and Katie, his brother John, his sister Mary and his son-in-law Barry.
He will be deeply missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren Avril, James and Emma, sister Anna (Finnegan), son-in-law Gordon, nephews, nieces and the extended family circle.

Tributes have poured in on RIP.ie for Pat, one mourner said,
"Deepest condolences to your family and extended family members on the sad passing of Pat, a lovely gentleman. Remembering his good nature and kindness over many years to his neighbours in Regina Park especially to my late aunt Kathleen. Pat, may you rest in eternal peace in the company of God's family alongside your beloved Mary and all who have gone before you. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time."
Another said, "Pat was such a lovely man and colleague in DkIT. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he went about his work in such a quiet and dignified way. He was very highly thought of by all who knew him. Rest in peace Pat. Sincere condolences to the Kearney family."
"Karen I am so sorry to hear of your dear father's passing. Pat was always a pleasure to meet and have a chat with over the years, certainly one of life's true gentlemen. Sincere condolences to you, Avril and all your family. May Pat's gentle soul Rest in Peace."
For those wishing to pay their respects, Pat’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ on Thursday 27th February from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm.
The family home is strictly private for family and close friends only.
Funeral Arrangements:
Removal from his late residence on Saturday morning (1st March) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Jonesborough.
Burial afterwards in Jonesborough cemetery.
