The death has occurred of Douglas (Doug) Stewart Mount Avenue, Dundalk, Louth

Douglas (Doug) Stewart, Mount Avenue, Dundalk. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. 22nd November 2022.

Douglas, husband of Elizabeth nee Chapman, dear Dad of Michael and Stephen, loving grandad of Andrea, Conor and Aisling. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters in laws Mercedes and Karen, brothers David and Mervyn, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and friends.

Douglas’s Service will take place on Friday morning at 11am in St Nicholas Parish Church. Burial afterwards in St Paul’s Churchyard, Heynestown.

The death has occurred of Robert McGahon Rock Rd, Blackrock, Louth

Robert Mc Gahon, Rock Road, Blackrock, Co Louth and formerly of Francis St, Dundalk and Sandilands, Sutton-on-Sea, Lincolnshire. Peacefully, in Portugal, 21st November 2022. Robert was the much loved husband of Eve (née Cracknell), dear brother of Charles-Fitzgerald, Hugh and the late Roderick and Niall and uncle of Niall, Louise, Hugh, Annemarie, Max, Ben and Niall Fitzgerald. Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Funeral arrangements will be updated in due course.

The death has occurred of James (Roy) Mackin 25 Culhane Street, Dundalk, Louth

Suddenly at home. Loving husband and best friend of Rosaleen and adored father of Andrew, Sharon, Trevor, Robert, Diane,Bernadine, Simon and the late Wayne. Roy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, children, cherished grandchildren Alex, Jasmine, Emmet, Theo, Cian, Sean, Benny, Paddy, Rhys, Jaxon, Finn and Leo, sons-in-law Eoin, Ken and Stephen, daughters-in-law Aida, Marian and Annabelle, brothers Martin and Paul, sisters Gay, Mary and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends and fellow supporters in Oriel Park.

Reposing at his home on Thursday and Friday between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40am walking (via Patrick Street) to St Nicholas' Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium for a cremation service.
