The Volkswagen Caddy range has received several updates to keep the popular commercial vehicle looking fresh.
The Caddy is Volkswagen’s smallest van and is a competitor to the Ford Transit Courier and Toyota Proace City.
For 2026, the Caddy gains revised exterior bumpers, fresh paint colour options and the choice of updated 16-inch and 18-inch wheel designs.
Changes have also been made to the van’s cabin, with a new, larger, free-standing central display. However, Volkswagen will reveal more details on interior specifications later this year.
Customers can choose between a commercial ‘Cargo’ variant and an MPV ‘Passenger’ model.
The Caddy Cargo is equipped with the option of a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 74bhp and 120bhp power outputs. There is also an ‘eHybrid’ model which uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to an electric motor and 19.7kWh battery pack to return a claimed 76 miles on electric power.
The Caddy Passenger is available with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 114bhp, while this model can also be specified with the 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel unit with the higher 120bhp power output.
Both models are available in short-wheel-base and long-wheel-base, ‘Maxi,’ body lengths, while the Passenger variant can be optioned with either five or seven seats.
Prices and specifications will be revealed later this year with further details on the van’s interior to follow soon.
