Former Mrs Brown's Boys star reacts to garda seizure as driver 'forgets' to apply for licence

Gardaí have seized a car from a driver who 'forgot' to apply for a licence or insurance.

Sharing a post to X, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Our members in Blanchardstown were on patrol when they stopped this car.

"The driver claimed to have forgotten to apply for insurance after buying the car a few months ago.

"The driver also seemed to forget to apply for a driving licence.

"We did not forget to seize the car."

Many users have commented under the post including former Mrs Brown's Boys Rory Cowan who played Rory Brown on the hit series until 2017.

Cowan commented a series of emojis under the post.

Another user commented: "Doubt the driver will forget meeting you."
