The National Lottery is urging Christmas scratch card players to claim their prizes before the deadline.
Players who purchased or were gifted scratch cards during the festive period the following Christmas scratch cards: ‘Hampers & Cash’, ‘Countdown to Christmas’ and ‘Merry Money’, to check their scratch cards as they could be sitting on incredible prizes!
If you tucked these cards away among your Christmas decorations or nestled them in a greeting card, now’s the time to dust them off and see if you’re a winner!
Players have 90 days from the game end-date to claim their prize, meaning players have just over four weeks to claim their prizes. The claim deadline for all Christmas scratch card prizes is close of business on Thursday April 3.

Players are also reminded that there is a Christmas Bonus Draw worth €5,000 still up for grabs! Players can enter by scanning the QR code on the scratch card or by manually entering the access code HERE.
National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O’ Dwyer,
"If you received or purchased one of our Christmas scratch cards: ‘Hampers & Cash’, ‘Countdown to Christmas’, or ‘Merry Money’ - check them now, as you could be sitting on an incredible prize.
"The deadline to claim is April 3, so don’t miss out! For prizes above €15,000, players should contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange collection at Lotto HQ.”
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language.
In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2023 alone, €227.9 million was raised for local good causes in communities across Ireland.
