Mark Smith, 44, from in Oldcastle, County Meath has not been seen since Friday morning
Gardai in Meath have stood down their search for missing 44 year old, Mark Smith from Oldcastle, County Meath, following the discovery of a body.
Mark had been missing from his home since Friday the 2nd of May.

The original Garda Appeal reads:
Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mark Smith (44) who is reported missing from his home in Oldcastle, Co. Meath, today, Friday 2nd May 2025.
Mark is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height, of slim build, is bald with blue eyes.
When last seen shortly before 9am this morning, Mark was wearing green running shorts, grey loose fitting T-shirt and blue runners.
Gardaí and Mark’s family are concerned for his well-being.
