The roads policing unit in Naas stopped a driver going in excess of 171Km/h on the M4 in North Kildare.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving and will face their day in court.

"A motorist was detected travelling at 171 km/h in a 120 km/h zone during a Naas Roads Policing Unit checkpoint on the M4 in North Kildare. Arrested for Dangerous Driving, they were charged and will face court. "
