Passengers at Dublin Airport have been notified that a popular lounge is closing for the rest of the year to facilitate a full renovation.

Dublin Airport announced that the T1 Lounge will close on Sunday, August 31, until "early 2026" amid major upgrade works.

In a statement, they said: "Our T1 Lounge will be closed from 3pm this Sunday (Aug 31) to allow for a full refurb and expansion (we're doubling the size of it!). The Lounge will reopen in early 2026.

"In the meantime, The Liffey Lounge and The Martello Lounge remain open, and operating hours for both have been extended from 04:00-21:00 daily.

"In T1, additional lounge space will be available from Monday onwards (Sept 1) between 07:00-17:00 in our new temporary lounge space, located beside Gate 202.

"The space can be accessed by business class passengers travelling with: Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Finnair, Hainan Airlines, Lufthansa (Swiss Air, Lufthansa City), Turkish Airlines, Westjet and Wideroe."
