The wintery and snowy conditions in Tipperary continues to cause havoc for motorists this morning as an accident has occurred on a busy part of the motorway outside Nenagh a few hours ago.
A vehicle came off the road on the M7 motorway southbound at Carrigatogher outside Nenagh in the early hours of the morning, with traffic reportedly at a standstill as emergency services were called to assist.
Met Éireann has issued a number of weather warnings for snow and ice with the country plunged into a sharp cold snap overnight and they are urging motorist to take extreme caution on the roads around the country.
