While on their walking history tour of the town yesterday the first-years also walked the grounds of what was formerly St Patrick's seminary and now Mary Immaculate College.
Another very historical building in the town that students learned the history of. They visited the Cathedral also and learned about its history.

Students also dropped into the library where they saw the model of Thurles town that is on display there. They also saw the wonderful carved sculpture on display, honouring many significant historical Irish
people.
They also got to see the wonderful archives upstairs. The tour certainly showed the boys how there is so much wonderful history in the town.
