Lecture by postal historian will commemorate a centenary of Irish stamps

The Main Guard in Clonmel will host the Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society lecture, in conjunction with the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History

Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society, in conjunction with the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History, will host a lecture entitled “Silent Ambassadors - 100 years of Irish Stamps” at the Main Guard at 8.15pm on Monday night, June 19.

The lecture will be delivered by Stephen Ferguson, postal historian and curator.

The talk will mark the start of an exhibition on 100 years of Irish stamps and postal service in the museum in Clonmel.

Admission is €5 for members and €7 for non-members.

Renewal or new membership costs €10.
