The golf classic is one of the big dates on the calendar in Thurles golf club
In recent years the Friends of Tipperary Football have held a very successful golf classic and once more the key dates hover on the horizon as a huge turnout is expected in Thurles for the event.
Often it is a who's who of GAA stars from the county and beyond that take part alongside many who support the good cause, and this year early booking is advisable once more.
The action get's underway in Tipperary Golf Club on Thursday the 3rd of August and continues on Friday the 4th of August.
Entry is keenly priced and there is a champagne scramble with great prizes of over €2500 as well as dinner after a round of golf.
