Gardaí believe burglars used county Tipperary's Suir Blueway to get to and from Kilsheelan house

Gardaí at Clonmel Garda Station are investigating the burglary

Gardaí are appealing for the public's help in tracing the burglars who stole fishing equipment from a house garage investigating a burglary in the Kilsheelan area on Monday night (July 3).

The burglars broke into a garage adjoining a house at Poulakerry (Poll an Choire), Kilsheelan at approximately 11.30pm that night. 

They stole a number of fishing rods and fishing equipment from the garage before making off on foot.

Gardaí at Clonmel Garda Station are investigating the crime and believe there was at least three people involved in the theft. 

They also believe the burglars utilised the Suir Blueway to get to and from the scene in or around 11.30pm that night. Enquiries are ongoing into this incident.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed suspicious behaviour, which may be linked to this incident in Kilsheelan village  between 11pm and 11.30pm on Monday to contact Clonmel Garda Station at (052) 6177640, email clonmel_ds@garda.ie or alternatively phone the Garda Confidential Line Free-phone on 1800 666 111.
