REVEALED: House prices in this Tipperary town has soared in the last year

House prices in Cashel have soared in the last year.  

According to the Residential Property Price Index for June 2023 released this week by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the median house price in Cashel was €220,000 in the 12 months to June.

The median price was just €174,500 for the same period last year, a 20% difference. 

Between January 2023 and March 2023, the median house prices in Cashel remained stable at €190,000. 

It went €191,000 in April before jumping to €200,000 in May. 

Cashel is now tied with Nenagh for the most expensive in the county, and has overtaken Clonmel at €210,000. 

Median house prices increased for all Eircodes across the county.

Tipperary Town also saw a significant increase of just over 18% since June 2022, putting the median house price at €171,500. 

However, Tipperary Town still has the lowest house prices in the county. 

Nenagh increased only slightly from €215,000 to €220,000. 

The median house price in Roscrea is now €163,500, €192,500 in Carrick-On-Suir, €185,000 in Thurles and €190,000 in Cahir. 

The median house price for the county is €200,000 for June 2023 compared to €186,000 in June 2022.
