What a great season at Thurles Camera Club.

We welcomed some new members to the club and had some great studio nights with different members who brought their own twist to the club.

On that note, I’d like to thank photographers Dick Walsh for a lovely studio night, Kevin Lim (Kilcommon) for his insight into street photography, Tom Dorothy for his display of photos from around the world and John O'Loughlin for his insight into sports photos.

Also, thanks to Patrick Foster (England) on a brilliant Zoom call, with a display of his photos.

Thanks to Paddy Slattery, Museum Thurles for having our club members out to his great museum.

Thanks to Jim Finn for having our club out to Ballynahow Castle Thurles, which went down very well.

Thanks to Cara O'Dwyer for stepping in for the chairperson, and thanks, to Jim Troy for all his help was very much appreciated.

On our last night, we had a barbecue in Cabragh Wetlands.

Great fun and laughter lots to eat with tea/ coffee.

Thanks to our Club chef Jim Troy for the lovely hot food, with Paddy Loughnane keeping an eye on the cooking.

Thanks to  Paddy Loughnane for taking the photo on the night.

On behalf of the chairperson Eileen Quinlan, I would like to thank everyone for making our club a great success and I wish our officers, club members and their families a great summer.

Many thanks to Mairead Ryan. Always so helpful and all in Cabragh Wetlands.
