Tipperary will be back in Masters Hurling action for the first time in years as they get ready for the start of the 2024 action later this month.
Led by former Tipperary and Thurles Sarsfields hurler Ger 'Redser' O'Grady, who will be a player/manager, the panel to date is littered with former intercounty and club hurling greats from the Premier and this competition will surely pique the interest of hurling supporters.
Redser will be joined on his management team by current Tipperary GAA County Board Vice-Chairman Michael Tierney, as well as Tierney's Borris-Ileigh clubmate Declan Maher, while Eoin Brislane of Toomevara makes up the rest of the management team.
This year's competition features six teams including Cork, Limerick, Kildare, Galway, and Wexford, and will get underway on August 31st. Each county will face each other once in a round-robin system, with the first and second-placed teams going forward to the Cup Final, while the third and fourth-placed teams face off in the Shield Final.
Please take a look at the graphic below for the fixtures. The panel named to date is not set in stone and can be altered at any time during the championship, but you can see the players who have committed so far below.
