Some 18 Tipperary GAA clubs have received landfall six-figure sums for infrastructure projects from the recently announced Sports Capital Grant Scheme.
Overall, Tipperary’s sports clubs will receive record funding under the Sports Capital and Equipment Grants of €9,609,734, with the GAA clubs around the county making full use of the funding after undergoing extensive applications earlier this year for their various projects.
Of the 18 clubs who have received six-figure funding, Moycarkey Borris GAA have secured the biggest amount with a €200,000 windfall incoming for facility enhancements.
Cashel King Cormacs GAA will receive the next highest amount with €199,327 while Thurles Sarsfields will be delighted to have been granted €178,564 for new dressing rooms at their new grounds in Toor Killinan.
