Hedgerows will be discussed at historical society meeting in Tipperary

Hedgerows are regarded as an important aspect of our heritage

The monthly lecture of the Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society will be held at the Main Guard at 8.15pm this Monday night, November 11.

Alan Moore of Hedgerows Ireland will speak on “The Importance of Hedgerows”.

As well as their natural and biodiversity value, hedgerows are an important aspect of our heritage defining the landscape, boundaries, properties, rights of way, old roads etc.

Admission for members is €5, non-members €7. Card payments are accepted. Membership 2024/5: Renewals and new memberships €10.
