Cashel Garda Station on Hogan Square was initially expected to reopen during the summer but the refurbishments had experienced some delays.

LATEST: Cashel Garda Station finally reopens to public after year-long closure

Cashel Garda Station has reopened on Monday, 2 December following extensive renovation and modernisation works to the building.

The station closed last November with Garda services temporarily moved to the old Motor Tax Office on Friar Street during the renovation works. 

Gardaí at the station will now be operating 24/7, dealing with calls for service.

The opening hours of the station's Public Office will alternate throughout the week.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the Public Office will be open from 10am to 1pm, and will reopen at 2pm until 5pm.

On Tuesday and Thursday it will be open from 11am to 1pm and reopen from 2pm to 6pm.
