Friends of the late Natalie Browne (née Walsh) have presented the proceeds of their Annual Charity Soccer Match to Milford Hospice, Limerick, continuing a heartfelt tradition in her memory.
The match, held between Cloughjordan FC and Knockshegowna GAA, has become an important community event, bringing together players, supporters and volunteers to celebrate Natalie’s life while supporting the hospice that cared for her.
At the presentation were representatives from both clubs, along with Natalie’s family and volunteers, reflecting the wide circle of people involved in making the fundraiser a success. The organisers expressed their gratitude to everyone who took part, attended the match, or contributed in any way.
Milford Hospice provides vital care and support to patients and families across the Mid-West, and the donation was warmly received as a meaningful gesture of remembrance and community solidarity.
The annual fixture continues to stand as a tribute to Natalie Browne, highlighting the power of sport to unite communities for a shared cause and to keep the memory of loved ones alive through positive action.
