The Council is starting a voluntary 'No Wait' program, asking local businesses to let people with a valid No Wait Card use their toilets quickly when needed.

Businesses that join the program may get window stickers or be mentioned in local business groups to show their support for the community.
The Council works with health and disability groups to help shops understand the program and join it.
Tipperary County Council understands the purpose of the Notice of Motion and sympathizes with the daily struggles of people with long-term and hidden illnesses, who deserve the chance to fully participate in community life.
The Council notes that "No Wait" or "Can't Wait" cards are currently managed on a voluntary basis by health and disability organisations.
These organisations issue cards to individuals who can present them discreetly when urgent access to toilet facilities is needed.
The scheme operates solely on goodwill and does not carry statutory or enforcement powers. Business participation is entirely voluntary.
