Cashel councillor Liam Browne has highlighted details of the upcoming ‘Easterland’ family fun event, organised by Le Chéile Cashel, with tickets now available on a limited basis.

The event will take place on Easter Saturday, 4 April, and is intended to provide families with an opportunity to enjoy a day out together during the Easter holiday period.

A range of activities has been planned, particularly aimed at younger attendees. Children will have the opportunity to meet Easter bunnies, take part in Easter themed arts and crafts, and enjoy music and dancing in a disco booth. An Easter treasure hunt will also feature as part of the programme, along with a selection of games and additional surprises throughout each session.

While the focus of the event is on children’s entertainment, refreshments including tea, coffee and treats will be available for parents and guardians.

The event will be held across three one hour sessions during the afternoon. These are scheduled from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, 3.15pm to 4.15pm, and 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Those attending with friends or in groups are advised to book the same session to ensure they can take part together.

Tickets for Easterland are available through Eventbrite, and early booking is recommended as numbers are limited.

Easterland is expected to provide a lively and family friendly event to mark the Easter weekend in Cashel - bringing together a range of activities for children alongside a relaxed atmosphere for parents. Early booking is advised as strong local is expected.
