Holycross/Ballycahill drama group preparing for December 9
Holycross/Ballycahill Drama group are all set to give theatre-goers a night of comedy with lots of laugh-out-loud moments.
We are bringing two one-act plays, When I snap my fingers and Mary Mary by Bruce Adam, to life on stage this coming weekend.
We are lucky to be able to have two amazing sets of cast members (apart from one actor who is so talented he stars in both) to fill the parts, including five new members who are showing us all how talented they are in their respective roles.
We welcome Fiona Gleeson as Stage Manager also, Deborah Harty, Ursula Condon and her daughter Hazel Houben and Sarah Ryan, all talented actors, to our group.
Without new members, any organisation will struggle, so we’re very lucky to have so many new faces join our troop of merry men and women.
Our two plays are suitable for all ages, and we are hoping to see young people in the audience as well as our regular drama lovers and hopefully some new faces who might discover that there is nothing to beat live theatre.
We are conscious that everything is so expensive, especially at this time of the year, so the cost of admission is €10 and €8 concession.
Teas served, and raffle on the night.
We are performing in Holycross Community Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 9, 10 and 11, at 8pm.
Please come along and support us and enjoy a great night of drama and comedy.
