The arrival of the permanent modules on site for the new Gaelscoil in Birr.
THIS week saw the building project for Birr's Gaelscoil take a huge leap forward with the arrival of the permanent modules on site.
These modules, of which there are 29 in total, will knit together to form a state of the art, A1 rated permanent home for the school community.
John Carroll, Chairperson of the Board of Management stated that "it is a hugely significant step in the school's development. A permanent home for Gaelscoil na Laochra means certainty for parents, pupils and staff alike."
Principal Niamh Uí Chléirigh said "the facilities in the new school will allow for growth and expansion. We are already seeing a rise in enquiries for enrolments for September 2024."
Enrolments will open soon and parents are advised to check the school's website www.gaelscoilnalaochra.com and social media channels over the coming weeks.
