Offaly pub says 'up yours' to anyone saying it's too early as they put up Christmas decorations
One Offaly pub has wasted no time getting into the Christmas spirit by putting up their festive decorations a day after Halloween.
JJ Houghs pub in Banagher has become famous for its Christmas ads in recent years and owner Ger Hough says they "waste no time" in getting into the Christmas swing of things.
In a social media post, he said: "We waste no time at JJ Houghs. Goodbye Halloween, hello Silly Season. Too early says you? Up yours says I.
He said the pub is going to be "lovely and warm for the festive season" and he encouraged people to book their Christmas parties early.
