Gardaí respond after car and van set on fire in Offaly attacks
Gardai in Offaly are investigating after two vehicles were set on fire in separate incidents last weekend.
The arson attacks both occurred in Edenderry on November 11 and November 12.
In a statement to Offaly Live, they said: "Gardaí have received reports of an incident of criminal damage by fire where a car was set alight on November 11 at approximately 10pm in Edendery."
They are also investigating a separate incident of criminal damage by fire where a van was set on fire the next day on November 12 at approximately 11pm in Edenderry. The second incident is understood to have occurred on the Dublin Road in the town.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made in relation to either incident but investigations are ongoing.
