Drugged up driver caught speeding past primary school in the Midlands at crazy speed
Gardaí have caught a motorist travelling almost double the speed limit close to a primary school.
According to An Garda Síochána, officers were checking for speed offences in Co Longford around 11am on Tuesday morning when they detected the car travelling at 98km/h in a 50km/h zone.
When stopped, they discovered the driver had no insurance and tested positive for cocaine and heroin.
In a statement posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) page, a Garda spokesperson stated: "One day, luck might not be on your side."
