OFFALY Libraries big event next week is their annual Harry Potter’s Birthday Celebration which takes place on Thursday, July 31, when Edenderry Library will transform into Hogwarts for the day.
All wizards, witches and muggles are invited to take part in a full day of events and activities including a Professor Sprouts Herbology Class facilitated by Anyone4Science, VEX Quidditch Arena facilitated by Offaly Co. Council’s STEM Coordinator, An Owl Storytime & Craft for under 6s, a Chapter Reading and Movie Screening.
There will also be a host of activities throughout the day including a sorting hat, Free Dobby Sock Toss, Pin the Scar on Harry, Dress-Up & Photo Prop Stations, Platform 9 ¾, a balloon Owlery, Scavenger Hunt, Find the Golden Snitch, prizes and more.
