FilmOffaly announces training workshop for local creative and tech startups

Stephen Fagan will lead an intensive one-day workshop on Wednesday February 4th at Esker Arts Centre, Tullamore

FilmOffaly, a project of Offaly County Council, has launched a new training workshop designed to empower business professionals, particularly those in leadership roles within creative and tech startups.

Creative Entrepreneur Stephen Fagan will lead an intensive one-day workshop on Wednesday February 4th at Esker Arts Centre, Tullamore. The “Mission Critical” workshop is designed by Fagan to combine strategic business development with values-based leadership. Participants will learn to lead with authenticity while building resilient, growth-oriented enterprises.

The programme developed through Fagan’s decades of hands-on creative and strategic experience in the global creative industries. A trained animator, his career has seen him work as a senior creative and producer. He is the co-founder of Screen Ireland’s Creative Leaders Programme and is a strong advocate for connecting and empowering businesses by bringing people together through workshops and creativity.

Mission Critical addresses the unique challenges facing founder directors in leadership roles. By combining values-based leadership with practical business development, participants will emerge with the tools and mindset necessary to build sustainable, purpose-driven organisations that can thrive in the creative/tech sector.

FilmOffaly’s Darren Lee said “Stephen is a highly inspiring mentor and an expert in organisation culture. This workshop is something that local SMEs in the creative and tech sectors won’t want to miss, and we hope it provide a great springboard for emerging Offaly businesses.”

The Course is free and open to emerging business leaders in the creative and tech sectors. Applications close on January 21st and further details can be found at www.FilmOffaly.ie .
