A man has been charged in connection with the death of a 33-year-old in Lanark and is due to appear in court next week.
Robbie Yuill was found unconscious in Smyllum Road at about 9.45am on Saturday and was pronounced dead by emergency services who attended a short time later.
Police Scotland said on Friday morning that a 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Mr Yuill’s death.
The force announced on Friday afternoon that the man has now been charged and will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Laura Sands said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance and co-operation throughout this investigation.”
